Meet Rooney, a sweet gentleman looking for the loving forever home he deserves.
Rooney is a mixed breed who is approximately 1 year old and weighs approximately 70 pounds. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
Rooney was rescued from a local shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list.
Rooney is a sweet, calm, and gentle boy. He is well-mannered in the home and thrives on companionship. He enjoys spending time indoors and is happiest when he is with his humans. Rooney is house trained and crate trained, making him a great addition to any home. He does wonderfully with children of all ages, as well as other pets including cats, dogs, goats, pigs, and rabbits.
Rooney has a lot of love to give, and he wants plenty of space to enjoy life to the fullest. While Rooney loves being indoors with his people, he also has a playful, adventurous side. He would do best in a home with a secure, fenced yard, where he can run, explore, and enjoy the simple joys of being a dog—chasing a ball, lying in the sun, or just stretching his legs in the grass.
Rooney is more than just a dog—he’s a loyal companion and someone’s future best friend. He’s ready to fill a home with warmth, loyalty, and unconditional love.
