Meet River – A Sweet Girl Who Deserves a Second Chance at Happiness
Age: 2 years old
Weight: 45 lbs.
Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines
About River:
River was rescued from the euthanasia list after a traumatic experience of being abandoned—pushed out of a truck. As a result, she can be timid, especially around men, but once she feels comfortable, she’s sweet, affectionate, and loyal.
She’s playful, loves walks, and is a big fan of water activities like hiking, visiting parks, and going to the lake.
What River Needs in a Home:
River would thrive in a home where she is the only dog, and with patience, she will become a loving companion. She needs a foster or adopter who understands her past trauma and can help her heal in a quiet, loving environment.
