Meet Canyon — A Gentle Boy With Lots Of Love To Give But Still Learning That Not All Humans Are Bad! 

We are in urgent need of a foster or adopter to help Canyon into a loving home now that he has completed his training. 

Canyon is a pup with a story of resilience and heart. As a very tiny puppy, he endured abuse that resulted in a fractured leg and head trauma before he ever knew what safety felt like. Because of his past, Canyon needs extra patience, especially when it comes to trusting men and feeling safe in social settings. New environments and unfamiliar situations are scary for him.

Once Canyon learns he can trust you, his true personality shines. He is nothing but love and sweetness. Canyon is deeply loyal, incredibly intelligent, and forms strong bonds with his people. He has been working hard in training to build confidence and learn basic commands, and he continues to make great progress.

Canyon loves to play, happily chews on his bones, and his favorite pastime is cuddling up close, giving kisses, and soaking up affection from those he trusts.

Canyon would do best in a calm, patient home that understands his needs. Any other pets in the home have to be submissive. Due to his sensitivity and fear of unpredictability, we do not recommend a home with small children.

Canyon is searching for a special adopter, someone willing to give him the time, consistency, and love he deserves. In return, he will give you unwavering loyalty and a heart full of devotion.
